26. A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act

      which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

27. Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our British brethren.

28. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature

29. to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us.

30. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here.

31. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity,

32. and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations,

33. which would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence.

      They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity.

34.We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation,

35. and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.

36. We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America,

      in General Congress, Assembled,

37. appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions,

      do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies,

38. solemnly publish and declare, That these united Colonies are,

39. and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States,

40. that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown,

      and that all political connection

41. between them and the State of Great Britain,

     is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States,

42. they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances,

      establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things

43. which Independent States may of right do.

44. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance

     on the protection of Divine Providence,

45. we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.

每一位都是大咖...可惜最後唸的那位我不認識...

獨立宣言大約於五分鐘那邊開始,很值得一看~~

而且口音都很好聽~~

尤其是瑞妮齊薇格^_^

我也會用反覆播放影片的方式,來引起孩子興趣...

(找到今天要唸的那一段,將滑鼠點在開始處,

孩子唸完就可以自己按滑鼠重新開始唸…)

好像解釋的很難懂...哈
